Delete Your Data

Manage your Doughsense data by removing specific items while keeping your account active.

Delete Individual Items

Financial Accounts

Remove accounts from your portfolio:

  1. Navigate to Portfolio tab
  2. Select the account you want to delete
  3. Tap/click Edit
  4. Scroll to the bottom
  5. Tap/click Delete Account
  6. Confirm deletion

Permanent deletion

Deleting an account removes all associated balance history and cannot be undone.

Income Sources

Remove income sources from your budget:

  1. Navigate to Budget tab
  2. Select the income source
  3. Tap/click Edit
  4. Scroll to the bottom
  5. Tap/click Delete Income
  6. Confirm deletion

Expenses

Remove expenses from your budget:

  1. Navigate to Budget tab
  2. Select the expense
  3. Tap/click Edit
  4. Scroll to the bottom
  5. Tap/click Delete Expense
  6. Confirm deletion

Physical Assets

Remove physical assets from your portfolio:

  1. Navigate to Portfolio tab
  2. Select the physical asset
  3. Tap/click Edit
  4. Scroll to the bottom
  5. Tap/click Delete Asset
  6. Confirm deletion

Liabilities

Remove liabilities from your portfolio:

  1. Navigate to Portfolio tab
  2. Select the liability
  3. Tap/click Edit
  4. Scroll to the bottom
  5. Tap/click Delete Liability
  6. Confirm deletion

Financial Goals

Remove goals from your plans:

  1. Navigate to Plans tab
  2. Select the goal
  3. Tap/click Edit
  4. Scroll to the bottom
  5. Tap/click Delete Plan
  6. Confirm deletion

Impact of Deletion

When you delete items:

  • Historical data is permanently removed
  • Projections are recalculated automatically
  • Metrics update to reflect current data
  • Linked items may be affected (e.g., income with withholding)

Delete Your Entire Account

To delete your entire Doughsense account and all associated data:

  1. Navigate to Profile tab
  2. Scroll to Account Management
  3. Tap/click Delete Account
  4. Confirm deletion

  • ✅ Access your data
  • ✅ Correct inaccurate data

  • ✅ Delete all data (full account deletion)
